In scheduling a lesson at Drop the Mic, Inc., you are agreeing to the attendance, payment & cancellation policies below.

Private Voice Lesson Policies

Payment~

Lessons may be paid for at the time of the appointment with personal check (made payable to Drop the Mic, Inc.), cash or credit card.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or if you fail to show up for the lesson, you will be charged for the full value of the lesson.

Attendance, Cancellation & Tardiness~

Private voice students see their teachers each week (or every other week) so that we can help them maintain their vocal health and give our students the best quality education.  Our students typically sing a lot, whether in school, choruses, musicals, church, competitions, rock bands, practicing around the house and performing near and far.  Vocal damage is common, especially in young singers, and we need to hear our students regularly to not only help them avoid hurting themselves, but to teach them the vocal techniques that will help them flourish!

Because of the high demand and limited availability at Drop the Mic, Inc., we take cancellations and reschedules very seriously.  Your time is incredibly valuable to us, as is the time of your fellow colleagues, so we do all that we can to keep lessons running smoothly and on time, as scheduled.

Lessons should be cancelled a minimum of 48-hours in advance. Rescheduling may not be possible but we will do our best to work you in.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or if you fail to show up for the lesson, you will be charged for the full value of the lesson.

There are no exceptions to this policy.

Our lessons are booked back to back, so we are unable to extend a lesson beyond the appointed time to accommodate a late arrival.

Down the road, if you need to change your lesson time, let your teacher know and they will be happy to find you another, lesson time.

Quite a few of our students are on tour and/or are not able to make a regular weekly time.  If that’s the case, then we can fit you in on a more flexible schedule, but lesson times will be subject to availability and the 24 hour cancellation rule still applies.
